“I have a manual nasal aspirator which worked great when my daughter was just a baby. Now that's she's a toddler who doesn't know how to blow her nose yet, I needed something better. Hi Chantelle, We totally understand it's not a baby's favourite thing, especially when they are sick and miserable. But as they can't blow their own nose, we believe the medical benefits far outweight a moment of fuss and wriggle. No parents likes to see their little one upset, but it's short term fuss for long term health benefits. It can take a few used to get the right technique and positioning. Their natural reflex is to turn their head and wave their arms, so we recommend a cradles breastfeeding position close to your body, to control those movements a little easier. Lying on a change table can be very difficult. Remember to keep your child upright, and Snotty Boss upright too, so snot doesn't leak into the lower pipe of the collection cup (as that suctions straight down to the motor).
