Beyerdynamic make great headphones which are comfortable, affordable and with excellent clean sound and these are no exception. I have a pair of much-loved DT880 600 Ohm headphones which are open and I decided to buy the closed DT770s for times when I need some sound isolation. They do this very well and although the sound is not quite as open they are still exceptional headphones and by far the best sounding closed headphones I have listened to. They are easy to drive and though the fit is a little tighter than the DT880s they are comfortable to wear. I prefer the DT880s overall though these are an excellent alternative especially if ambient noise is an issue. And the curly thick cable is superior to that on the DT880s. Great service too from Soundcorp!
