“I really love the flat response across frequency ranges for these. Being a woodwind player, I especially appreciate that the feeling of playing with these in my ears sounds much more natural than some ear plugs I've used. I'm able both to hear myself and the people playing around me. They're also ideal for practicing high notes in a small room by myself!”

You can tell the difference when you adjust the db control and it does enable some sound through but it is still a slightly muffled and dull sound compared to natural. As a musician it is helping protect my hearing but isn’t helping my ability to hear a balanced sound at reduced db”
“Lots of options for earbuds to ensure the perfect fit. I noticed some difference when I opened and closed the ports? But not as much as I expected - I couldn't conceptualize the difference before I bought them. Overall, solid purchase. I think an addition to the design that might suit my ear better would be little wings that hold it in place inside the ear, like earbuds? But I don't know if that would keep consistent with the dampening or the design!”
