Minuendo adjustable earplugs Reviews

I am a drummer that works 2/3 times a week, mostly in pubs and music clubs. I bought these earplugs a little over a month ago because I was tired of returning home after a job with ringing and or banging in my ears and most often a headache. I have since used these minuendo plugs at larger/louder shows, set at the lowest 7db setting and it doesn’t distract from performance and has stopped the ears ringing and headaches after the show. The size range of ear inserts is good and I have tried out several of the foam and rubber inserts. Each gives a different feel and response. This will be dependant on your own personal taste and sounds requirements. I highly recommend these if you are serious about your hobby or job in the music business, as they will protect your hearing for years to come without too much compromise in you feeling the music and listening pleasure.

I am a sound engineer for a very famous Australian rock band and have found these ear plugs the best I’ve used. To be able to change db levels in a second is amazing and they are very true.

I I was really impressed with the minuendo when I attended a recent symphonic concert band performance. Good sound clarity and comfortable fit. I am still getting used wearing the earplugs in individual teaching lessons (I teach violin ) but the minuendo are already better than all other brands and styles I've tried.

I am a home drummer which is how I found minuendo. BUT I did not want these just for drumming, my main intent was for work. I’m a helicopter pilot in a constantly loud environment and wear minuendo under my noise cancelling headset. They have made a world of difference to the noise coming in but still retain crystal clarity. I have had custom moulded ear plugs with filters in them and minuendo is better. I can vary the level of noise reduction to suit the environment at the time where I can’t with my moulded ear plugs. Not cheap but neither are hearing aids

If you try to pull the magnets apart instead of sliding them apart, the innards start to come out. I almost broke a pair doing that. A little pricey for what they are in my opinion, but they do work well.

I’ve tried a number of different brands but these are definitely the best. I can Actually hear the individual instruments more clearly because the earplugs filter out a lot of the harsh room noise. I wish though they they had an over ear thingy that would help to keep them in place as they tend to fall out once you get a bit sweaty. Like any other ear plugs or in ear monitors, they take a bit of getting used to as they can make you feel a bit isolated

Like glasses for my eyes is the best way I can describe them. I can’t believe how much I like these headphones. I can easily hear everyone talking even at the loudest music events. The dimmers work perfectly and I don’t find that they move around as others had mentioned. It honestly doesn’t sound or feel like I have anything in my ears. No pressure!
