“I love my Soundbrenner pulse so much. I have a hard time listening to both how I’m playing and the tick of a metronome at the same time, so when I bought it I was hoping it would help me be able to focus all my listening attention on my playing. And it does! The vibration is very strong and I can put it anywhere—not just on my wrist—-so it doesn’t distract from the attention I pay to my wrist movements, as a percussionist. It does take some getting used to, it feels very weird the first few times you use it and not every place you can put it is helpful. Putting it around my leg felt like I was being kicked repeatedly by a gnome with impeccable time. It also doesn’t respond to two-finger taps from time to time, and when linked up with the Soundbrenner app, sometimes the two don’t synch up perfectly and the Soundbrenner skips a beat suddenly to recalibrate. But overall I’m very happy with it and it’s become a fantastic solution for a big problem of mine.”

“This is a game changer for recording! I use the Soundbrenner app usually but that is only visual so having a way to feel the beat is unebelievable! I love it!”

“I absolutely love how intuitive this metronome is. It took me a little while to get used to it, but once I did it was exactly the nudge I needed to keep on time. After some playing, it feels very natural to just ‘feel’ the beat. My one complaint is that I wish they’d sell different wristband options, even the smallest wristband is too large for me, I end up wearing it halfway up my forearm - not a deal breaker I just wish there were smaller options.”

“I have struggled with rhythm and the Soundbrenner has been very helpful. Feeling the pulse seems to work better for me than hearing it on the metronome. Every once in a while the devise is a little wonky: needing, for example, to be restarted. I definitely recommend this, especially for those struggling with feeling the pulse.”
