“I have had many pairs of these shoes and i personally find them excellent value, The grip is extremely good in the mud, the cushioning is second to none, better than a lot of other "branded shoes" , the construction of the shoe is "over engineered" but i find this a good thing as they are not going to fall apart on the first muddy run or get torn from the first snag from brambles, but some runners might find them slightly heavy due to this , ie overlays , fabric thickness, cushioning around the ankle collar, etc The only point i would like to make is that these shoes i find get my feet very hot in the summer months due to very little ventilation, i would very much like to see this shoe with a mesh upper, this would make this shoe my best x-country shoe by far, but apart from that i would not hesitate in buying another pair as i find these shoes to be the best value for money trail shoes i can find with these qualities.”
