“I'm a massive fan of the Salomon brand. I got pretty excited when I saw these at a knock down price in Sport Direct. I must admit that I've only worn these once so far and done a quick but wet 5k on country lanes, Grip in the wet was good, they seemed fine on the gravel and tarmac terrain but it would be interesting to see how they would perform on some wet trails. A relatively comfortable shoe although the shoe has a similar fit to the old styl Cross Max with a slightly raised arche which did give me a rather large bilster just behind the ball of my feet however having owned a pair of cross max which did the exact same thing I know that once I've done a couple of K im them they'll be super comfy. All in all a good buy for £30”
