“I bought these as I officiate at swim galas and shoes must be white on top and on soles. They have a silver bit at the back (which I hadn't realised) so wouldn't buy again... but wasn't overly concerned as my trousers would cover. Seemed fine until got to pool and found they were really slippery and had to take off in case I had an accident. I therefore definately would not buy again. I gave the trainers a normal rating as they didn't meet my needs but may meet someone elses. They seem comfortable although we are not talking about cinderalla perfect. These were a replacement for another firetrap trainer of a different design. It would be helpful if manufacturers tested shoes and could advise in advance if certain soles work in the wet or not.”
