“I have experienced in my view a very poor service (procedural). I ordered the trainers online (Sondico Flair Astro Turf Trainer Mens) for the discounted price of £12. Unfortunately the size 8 shoes were smaller than normal (as I always fit into a size 8). I took them back to my local Sports Direct shop in Chingford (to avoid an unwanted postal charge) and tried on a size 8.5 which fitted perfectly. I went to exchange the shoes at the desk and was informed that I had to pay an additional £11 as I had purchased the shoes online. I explained that I just wanted to swop the shoes for a size that fitted me. I was told I could not do this and was given a voucher to use online. I have not re ordered the shoes as I do not want to pay another delivery cost which combined with the first charge is nearly the full cost of the trainers. I really feel quite angry about this process and feel a small change in the procedure would make things much more customer friendly. As I was discussing the issue with a member of staff a different customer said she had exactly the same problem and would not be using the online service again. Any assistance to resolve this matter satisfactorily would be appreciated. My credit note number is 73261606713898362641.”
