“Ordered a pair of trainers on Sportsdirect.com on the 11th of January : SD40000043067858 Received an "order received" acknowledgement email and then I have been kept up to date with the progress of my purchase. The shoes were delivered to the local store on the 14th. All good so far. Went to collect the purchase, and received them fairly quickly at the counter. However, when I got home, and opened the black plastic packaging, I found a torn and dirty shoebox and the trainers were visibly pre-used with black marks on the white sole. The state of the packaging the of the trainers was shocking. (photos taken for evidence) I immediately contacted Sportsdirect’s customer service on 0845 129 9200 , but after getting through to customer service, I was informed by an automated message that due to the high number of calls, Sportsdirect cannot take my call and "good-bye", and the system hang up on me. I tried to call again after an hour, but the system still hang up, claiming they were too busy. I then headed back to the local store Reading Broad Street, where I had to suffer further atrocities. When I approached the cashier and showed her the state of the packaging and the shoes, she informed me that I should have had an A4 paper inside the parcel with the address for return. It was clearly never included in my parcel. She then told me that I could buy a box, go to the post office and send the shoes back. She said she did not know why the A4 paper was not included and she said she could not help me more, and she called the manager. The manager –(Rob?)refused to tell me his name! – stormed in and without saying "hello" or anything, he shouted "what’s the problem?". I again explained the situation and showed him the evidence. He said it was not his fault and I could do whatever I wanted, then off he went. I was passed on to a third person, a female working on the till. She again did not say hello or anything that she would be sorry for the shocking state of the order, however she told me "but you are wearing the shoes not the box!" I could not believe my ears. When I highlighted to her that also the shoes have been clearly worn before arrival to me and that I purchased brand new not nearly new shoes, she looked at them then said "these are not too bad, I don’t know why you are not happy". I ended up negotiating a voucher for the value of the purchase. This has left me with • Shock that when I order new, will get used product delivered • loss of delivery charge I had to pay to Sportsdirect.com, • no shoes at the end • a horrible experience with and utterly rude team at Sportsdirect Interested to see how you might wish to put this right… It is not only that staff have been extremely rude and unhelpful, but it unfair business (fraud?) advertising something as genuinely new and sending out a nearly new item in a shocking state (not even including the return A4 sheet). What regulators are going to say to this? Also the fact that delivery charge is now a loss to me, so is this just a huge scam taking delivery charge from people?”

“Produsele Everlast sunt foarte bune,un ușor minus pentru pantalonii Lonsdale damă și T-shirt Slazenger boys(sunt cu un număr mai mare)! Numerele au venit cele comandate,dar din fabricație sunt mai mari (pentru copil am comandat XLB,a venit,dar trebuia un număr mai mic)!Cele Polo,foarte bune!”
