I went to every chain diy store without success. Thank you so much for easy to understand pictures and descriptions and measurements!!! I did the repair myself and your great service helped my confidence if I have any other issues.

Out of all the sprinkler supply options Rain Bird has always been the better choice for longevity & less maintenance.

Valve works great as a replacement for the older right angle valves that are in my system. Sprinkler Supply Store was able to get me the valves quickly and a good price.

I ordered 1in. sprinkler valve (angled) received in reasonable time even though was on back order. Didn't install yet but I hope it will work well.

This valve is the same as the 100-DV, except that instead the water coming in and going out in a straight line, it comes in from below, and exits from the side. This valve is the most basic automatic valve that Rain Bird has. All it does is open and close. There is no flow-control for fine tuning (you get that in the 100-DVF-A), and it does not last very long if you are running unfiltered dirty/ reclaimed water through it (you want a 100-PEB or PESB for that). It is best used with normal culinary (house or city) water. Its price and simplicity are its best characteristics. But in my opinion, spend the extra dollar or two and get the DVF.
