“This valve was used to replace a TACO geosense zone valve in a geothermal system. It is about 1/10 the price and does the function. Even though it is a slow close valve, it still has some water hammer sound. It has 3x the warranty period of the TACO and operates quieter. I'm hoping for a much longer service life but given the price and the fact that the Rain Bird can be repaired and the TACO can not, it is a much better value.”
