“These make a strong connection, but are extremely difficult to use with old Low Voltage cable, I had a very hard time getting it to cut through the insulation. It's also tricky to get the smaller gage wires that run to the light to fit perfectly so that they make contact. These were points I had found in other reviews, and through I could use them anyway but in the end I just through them away as I couldn't use them to retrofit in an existing garden situation.”

“certainly not easy as described. One has to hold down 2 sets of wires and keep them in just the right position to align and screw down the top, very awkward/poor design. The contacts are not sharp enough to penetrate 12 gauge underground duty landscape wire. Still looking for a quality product to connect lamp figure wire to 12 gauge main lines - This ISN'T it.”
