“Another winter, another 2 bad sprinkler valves/solenoids. Went on-line to order replacement units, and a few days later the products arrived! Very Prompt!!!
Just wish I can only order the solenoids, which don't allow the valves to kick open/close. Keep throwing out the valves.”
“I had replaced all the vales a few years ago and had one this past year that was not working properly would not open completely, determined it was the solenoid as you could open it manually and get good pressure . I ordered two new ones ,one to replace the defective one and one to have as a spare .
I fixed the defective one which was easy to just remove the "guts" and leave the body in place that worked fine.
one issue was that was minor was one of the two new valves had a broken piece that you use to open it manually but I just used the part”
