“I purchased this to replace a 4 " pop up model in a location that I needed a little more height. This Hunter sprinkler is well constructed and I will eventually replace all my Hunter heads with the stainless steel version when the all plastic models wear out. If you have sandy soil the stainless steel will be more resistant to scratches which will make the seals on the pop up head last longer. Very reasonable cost for such high quality components.”

“IMO the Stainless riser moves more smoothly than the plastic counterpart. The I-20's in general are significant beefier than their PGP counterparts. More force is required to extend the body for a nozzle change. If you are doing an entire job with these, you should get the plastic 'nozzle tool' which holds the riser extended while you remove/insert the nozzle. If your job is not dictated by price then these are the rotators to get.”
