“In my previous July 2018 order with you folks, I received for first time this new design Hunter pop-up, with the screwed on Adjustable Nozzle; I ordered 35 pop ups of various distance, 12, 15 and 17 ft. Since then I have found that nozzles do NOT stay in place on threaded riser tube. When nozzles rotate CCW, the spray direction changes. My email to Hunter support in CA got no help. The design to have nozzle tighten onto riser tube in CW direction, but then you rotate nozzle open in CCW direction seems wrong. There are variations in nozzle fit on riser tubes, some seat completely, some do not. Some are so difficult to rotate open, that you immediately begin loosening nozzle from riser tube. So I have begun to glue the nozzle onto the riser tube with Loctite Super Glue, which does claim water, temperature and shock resistance. I will find out as this season goes by and next spring, if this glue holds the nozzles in place. Since my 1996 Colorado lawn sprinklers were installed, I have seen at least 4 previous designs of Hunter pop ups, but this design, although better with higher position on riser tube, easier finger grip for tightening and color coding, is the least reliable for spray direction. Therefore, I DO NOT RECOMMEND these Pro Adjustable Hunter pop up sprinklers. Yes, I did order 7 more this year, because, I do not know what other pop up sprinkler brand might be more reliable, and right now, I do not want to dig up my 4 dozen Hunter sprinklers to replace them with different riser tube designs. These 7 already have super glue on nozzle threads, and will be installed soon. I would expect that other users would be having this same problem, but might not have noticed.”

“These are similar model as the older hunter 0412a sprinklers I have, only that they are a newer model, and nice price as well. My older hunter sprinklers worked great and I dont doubt that these new ones will work great too. I have not installed because it's been raining regularly here in south texas but once I do I will update my review. Thanks sprinkler supply store.”
