“I ordered 5 new solenoids for an old Richdel system, replacing 2 that were defective. The shipping charge was a little steep, but overall this was a much better choice than being overcharged by a repairman. Replacing the solenoids was so easy! You just disconnect the wires, unscrew the old solenoid, screw in the new one, and reconnect the wires. Thanks to youtube for giving me the courage to try this on my own, and thanks to Sprinkler Supply for keeping me posted on shipping delay due to Covid-19. The worst part of this experience was having to dig out the mud from the valve box that had built up over the years.”
