“My sprinkler repair man installed first one then the second one (ordered for potential future use). Neither worked. Since they were installed and quite muddy I knew I could not return them. Very disappointing”

Hi Patricia, we'd certainly never leave you stuck with defective valves, muddy or not. It's really unusual to even have a single defective valve, let alone two of them, so there might have been a need for some troubleshooting that needed to happen before writing them off. “Always have had no problems with previous Weathermatic Silver Bullet lawn valves until recently - they started leaking, blowing water out the bottom (crack) of the shell. Found out through other house water problems, the city changed the main water line in our area and we were getting water pressure at 160-200 psi - should be at 60 psi maximum. We added new water pressure gauge has since been added to our main line to keep any more water line problems and hopefully the new Weathermatic SB-HP 1” Silver Bullet Lawn/Sprinkler Valves will last longer than the 2 years these last/previous one did. The original Weathermatic valves I had were great and lasted over 10 years. My 1st time to order from Sprinkler Supply Store online and no problems ordering and products were shipped and received quickly.”

“Every now and then I have to replace the top part of the valve in my underground system. I order 6 at a time so I have one when I need it.”
