“The Rain Bird XB20PC1032 2 GPH emitter, unlike most drip irrigation parts is a well-designed professional quality part. It is suitable for both home and commercial applications. It screws into the Rain Bird 1/2" MPT 12" Riser to form a durable and efficient drip irrigation unit that then screws into a standard 1/2" female PVC fitting. They last for years. If replacement is needed all you have to do is unscrew the self threading end of the emitter out of the riser and screw in another. These are far easier to use than other emitters which depend upon a barbed end to insert into the riser. I use them exclusively on all my landscaping jobs.”
