“The mosquitoes around the pool area, the kitchen and common areas were terrible. We could not eat meals without being attacked by mosquitoes. there seems to be a misting system - but obviously there was not any chemicals in the system. There are gardens by the pool with standng water for the mosquitoes to breed - this is not acceptable. We asked the maid and she said there was nothing she could do about the mosquito problem. There is limited freezer space. The bottom dryer does not work well - 2 beach towels took hours and then had to be placed in the top dryer to finish dryng. took most of the evening to dry our beach towels for the following day. the other problem is most of the rooms had tubs instead of showers - maybe this is acceptable in France - not what we are used to. The adults in the tub rooms had to use the showers in the few rooms with showers. We were told there was a dry and wet sauna but we did not have access to them??? Very dissapointed in this villa. the view was fantastic - one more thing - the board was rotten above the front porch - luckily when it fell no one was under it - there is also a board that is rotting above where you park cars outside the garage.”

“The Villa Privlege that we stayed in this year does not belong in the collection as a luxury villa. Four of the seven bedrooms had no showers. The mosquitos were awful. We couldn't even enjoy being in the common areas or sit outside because we were constantly being attacked by mosquitos. The furniture in many of the bedrooms is very dated and needs replacing. We stayed in the bedroom connected to the office area. The doors on the hutch were broken and some of our clothes were actually stained from sitting on the shelves in it. The washer and dryers were terrible, took forever to do a load of laundy. Missing basic kitchen items such as measuring spoons. Also for a seven bedroom home there was only one umbrella in the pool area. Definately need more than one (old) umbrella for a villa of that size and more lounge chairs. Some of the shutters that we needed to put down anytime we left did not go down leaving the common areas and access to other areas of the house vulnerable and unable to leave things out because there was really no security gate that was locked. All in all, given the amount of money that we spent for the ten days accommodations I don't feel this villa should be charging this much.”
