I can concur with Wayne's findings. His first attempt trying Dermaplaning using a cheaper brand of tool, was not impressive at all. I found the same to be true.
This is a well weighted, well designed instrument that is heads and tails above the cheaper variety I used. It's sharp. The other brand seemed so dull in comparison, and even seemed to become more dull before I was close to finishing. I like the removable heads that are easy to replace. It's a classy, effective and responsive little design that feels good in the hand.

The difference between shaving and dermaplaning is we use a single edge blade to ensure the dead skin cells are removed for an exfoliation treatment. Hair growth is only stimulated by hormonal changes and eating habits. Using our Dermaplaning Tool will not change the thickness, color, or rate of growth. The hair will grow back at a blunt edge but the hair itself is not actually thicker or darker :)
