“I was replacing an old hand crank type standing desk borrowed from my employer, and it made me appreciate how much straightforward putting the new one together was compared to disassembling the old, and also how sturdy the new one is. It took me a couple hours to build almost on my own with a simple screwdriver and the provided Allen key. It is very well thought out, except that one groove to run the power cable through that should come out between the cross bars but actually comes out to be a dead end on the 120cm desk. That's the reason I took out a star, but it's really no big deal, it just means wondered what I was doing wrong for a bit and I now have a cable running over the cross bars rather than under, but it's not dangling in any way or being otherwise an issue.
I read other reviews being dissatisfied about the adhesive on the wireless charger, so instead I used the little screws that are also provided with it. That thing is not going anywhere!
We have another electric standing desk from a different brand, and having an actual place to put a power board makes a world of difference! It's so much neater and I'm not worried about pulling cables.
Overall I'm impressed with the quality and happy with my purchase! It's a tiny bit pricier than other standing desks on the market but I think it's well worth putting in that little bit of money to get a better build quality and cable management.”
“Presumably due to Covid-19 lockdowns both in NZ and overseas, my standing desk was only delivered after many weeks' delays, and in drips and drabs. However, once I had all three packages, the desk was really easly to assemble, and it works perfectly. Very impressed with the product!”
“Awesome! I absolutely LOVE my Stand Desk. I was a little daunted when I opened the boxes and laid everything out. So many parts! However, the instruction video for assembly is extremely well put together and easy to follow. I definitely benefited from being able to pause and replay the more complex sections. (By the way, incredibly well packaged as well. There were a few dents on the packaging for the desktop so was initially concerned it would have been damaged but no, very intelligent protection inside - impressed!).
So, my desk is full assembled, the dark desktop and frame look stunning, and have programmed in the set heights to easily change my seating and standing positions throughout the day.

StandDesk is a great product and the team behind the product are awesome.
The desk - arrived as advertised, easy to assemble (great assembly video as it got me through the process in around an hour - between MS team meetings BTW) - and really am enjoying the work (Sit/Stand) options it enables. Quality is very good - especially when compared to many other more pricey options out there. Motor is quiet, and relatively quick, colour is just as per the pictures and size is just right for my space.
The team from my first enquiry through to the post delivery followup were awesome to work with. keeping me informed about the shipping arrival delays through to queries about the desk features. Highly responsive and a positive exemplar of how customer service should be!
