“The desk has been a godsend for my back and hips to have the option to easily change my working position. The lack of the fifth star is due to the charging apparatus falling out straight away (although we put a bracket across to stop that. And I won't be using it anyway, it's not in a good position for me as I want to work from the left side of the desk); and one of the buttons getting kind of stuck in its whole after only a few uses (although it still works ok atm).”
“First a word about interacting with the company, as my (and I think everyone who ordered on the same shipment) had a delay due to covid shipping delays. They err on the side of over-communicating. Which is great. There was a delay with the boat, they kept me posted as they got news. The shipment landed in NZ, they gave me a call to make sure my address was a residential address, as we were now in lockdown. There was a problem with a few missing screws, they replied within an hour and had them delivered the next day. Many companies wouldn’t have done any of that. These guys roll with the punches and adjust to challenges.
The desk: Wonderful. I kept my expectations grounded, but the build quality exceeded them. A lot. Especially the frame. It’s a well-thought out system and one of the buying points for me was that the frame is adjustable. So I could get a shorter desktop if I move to a smaller office space and just screw it to frame. The bamboo desktop (I got natural) is also good quality. Doesn’t look tacky like many bamboo products out of Asia. And the cabling system is very tidy. You can only see one cable under the desk (power). Assembly is pretty easy. But be prepared for about an hour.
Honestly with the free shipping on returning it if you don’t like it, it’s a bit hard to go wrong. I obviously didn’t return the desk so I can’t comment on this process, but it’s pretty clear to me that the company is on a mission to establish good customer service with people who likely aren’t repeat buyers any time soon, so I doubt there would be issues.

“I really love this desk. I’m 5’ tall, and I’ve spent most of my working life propped up on footstools and the like, none of which have ever really been the right height. With this desk, my feet can touch the floor when I’m sitting, and I can adjust it to my height perfectly, whether sitting or standing. It was pretty easy to put together, it’s surprisingly roomy (I can fit various potplants and knick-knacks on it plus all of my working paraphernalia), it’s so very easy to move it to different heights, and it looks great in my room (I opted for the bamboo finish). Great product!”
