“The desk was great quality and easy to setup with the video provided. Its looks far nicer than the pictures i saw. The ability for good cable management is easy with the tray provided.
I'm quite disappointed that the wireless charger only works with no phone case (Tested with Samsung s20). This was a big selling point for me. Doesn't work on smart watches either. This could just be a limitation of currently technology that the charge can only reach so far. Would be good to be able to purchase a new charger if there is ever one available that had more range. I don't know anyone who doesn't use a case on their phone, so the charger feature becomes a little mute. After charging my phone without the case for about and hour the heat from the charger detached when the adhesive became warm. I had to wedge the charger in to stop it from falling out again. Mabey it would be good to remove the adhesive and brace the charger in somehow that way its slightly closer to the surface of the desk and we get that little bit closer to charging with cases.
I made my purchase on December 31st 2020 and received no confirmation email(Not sent to junk folder) . Conrad from support promptly sent through an invoice when asked if we should be receiving confirmation emails and told tracking will be sent out and takes about 1-2 days for delivery. After about a week from purchase (Jan 6th) i still didn't know if the desk had been sent out, or when it would be sent. I was then told it will be sent on the 12th, I wasn't aware that the team was on holiday until then, when i checked the website(on the 8th) they had then put up a notice about this.
i had to email back in on the 14th as i still had received nothing. I was told it will be sent tomorrow (15th of Jan) . This wasn't sent until the 18th of Jan. Half of the desk arrived on the 19th and the other half on the 20th. The delays seem to be on the delivery company they use (Post Haste).
Overall I'm very happy with the product despite the charging issues. Conrad from support was very quick with reply's A+. Not sure why i wasn't being sent confirmation emails, It would be nice to be sent information about delays or estimated shipping times.

“I *really* like this desk, I really really do - but the assembly video missed out this one key step right at the start regarding bolting the legs into the cross bars with four bolts instead of two - and in order to fix my error I have to completely disassemble the desk (it’s very heavy, so this isn’t a pleasant prospect).
The other thing is the wireless charger, it works, kind of. The hole provided and the actual device shipped have very different diameters, so I feel a larger coil was planned for. It’s ok, just a bit flaky in registering the device (I have extremely slim case, so I doubt it’s that, perhaps I’m running the wrong voltage to it).
Overall, I still really rate the desk and would still recommend folks buy it, but more detailed instructions would have helped remove any doubts while I was assembling the thing.”
“Great product, good depth and width (I got the 1800 x 800 mm model). Very stylish and the instructional video was easy to follow. I managed to assemble it myself but two people would make things easier, as suggested in the video. The mechanism is quiet and smooth. Great little storage area for all those wires. Liked that.
The only criticisms (and they are constructive):
- the courier tracking was not the best. To be fair I ordered on 23 Dec and so expected a bit of a delay but it seemed to be stuck 'in transit' from 18 Jan for a week (which I checked on daily) then suddenly it turned up. Would be good to get notification on delivery day if possible.
- I don't find the built in wireless charger patch useful at all. The 3M sticker provided does not work even after clearing dust from the cavity underneath the desk. My kiwi ingenuity duct tape also wouldn't keep the charger in position as it's not as thick as the hole it sits in. I doubt I would always want my phone charging in an allocated position on the desk either but each to their own. It would be really good to have a multi USB port fitted to the edge, underneath the desk, for quick access and for a variety of reasons.

“The desk took 4 weeks to arrive. This was longer than expected, even with New Years holiday falling in the middle of it.
The desk was delivered to the wrong address. The courier also didn't call my number before completing the delivery as I'd requested in the delivery instructions while ordering. I question Stand Desk's decision to use this company for postage.
Assembly instruction video lacks detail. A written guide should be included.
As many others have noted, the wireless charger doesn't stay on. The included adhesive is too weak. Using my own double sided tape worked, but I expect more attention to detail from a product in this price range. The underside channels for cables are too narrow for the cable clips to fit. Quality control is a little disappointing here.
With all of this being said, the rest of the desk is excellent. Operates smoothly and it's rock stable even at its highest height. This review would be closer to two stars if it wasn't for how well made the desk is.”
