I went with the bamboo desk top option and wasn't disappointed. The finish is beautiful. Installation was simple and everything fitted as it was supposed to. The desk quality is very solid even when in a standing position. You can tell that these are built to last. The desk control panel and electric motor run smoothly.
The whole package was delivered in really solid packaging which was great because you can rest assured that your product is arriving in tip top condition.
I looked at a few other standing desks (both online and in store) before making my decision. Others within the same price range were either flimsy, used cheap wood with a plastic covering or both. If you can choose between a beautiful real bamboo (or wood) desktop and a low quality plastic sealed desktop for the same price, it's a no-brainer.
The customer service was top notch. Due to a shipping delay (no fault of Stand Desk NZ) my desk arrived a bit later than expected. The friendly staff were in contact with regular updates which was awesome.
On top of everything else, it's amazing using a standing desk. My back feels great and I love making work phone calls while the desk is in standing mode. I can't see myself ever going back to a standard desk.
