“We live on a lake with East exposure to Cape Cod Bay, that is 2 miles away. The wind blows each Spring and Fall sometimes for a week. This is often 20 mph with gusts to 40+, not to mention storms. I’m a Master Electrician and have had hands on light fixtures for 40 years. The quality of this fixture is awesome, the gooseneck is threaded pipe and the 6” base plate, cast, threaded, and heavy. The light fixture is beautiful and oh so sturdy in our windy location. Thank you for offering such a quality, customizable fixture at a great price. Note, we used a 3K color temp., 100W equivalent LED bulb which is absolutely perfect for our mounting height over a deck.”
