While the product itself is great and met my expectations there were a few drawbacks. First, the company used to deliver it basically dropped it off at my door and took off. The piece had a total weight of over 200 lbs in three cartons that I had to move without any assistance. My business has no loading dock or area and the pallet took up most of the walkway. For the price paid to ship you’d think they would bring into my shop and not just leave it. Second, the instructions were horrible. They were not much more than poor line drawings and not very representative of the individual parts. At the very least there should be numbers or letters corresponding to each piece. I’ve seen this with other “assembly required” items and it would make the whole process a lot smoother.

When I finally did receive it it was several days late and my store was opening and just 24 hours.. several of the screws were missing also one of the actual wood pieces was also missing from the desk we had to make do and set it up with a little bit of ingenuity on our behalf

Not the easiest item to assemble considering that the assembly direction are minimum at best. But a good product for the money. It fit perfectly into our space and very functional for store front portion of our shop.

I called because there was a couple of corners that the finish was chipped off but was told I should have opened the box and checked it when I got the pkg.

I am very satisfied with this product. The price was the best I could find for the quality. However, unless you love puzzles and have 2-3 hours to spend on assembly, get it prebuilt.

We own two of these. One we bought in spring 2017 and one we bought last week (January 2020). The instructions are not great (they don't show the main shelf in the exploded view, they describe the front of the drawer as the back, they show the wrong number of holes in some of the pieces, etc). But ultimately it's not that difficult to assemble. Most difficult part is when attaching the sides you have to be able to access the underside of the counter to tighten the bottom cams. As the counter weighs 130lb at that stage of assembly it's definitely a two person job gently laying it down to get access without stressing any of the joints. After nearly 3 years the original counter is loose in the ledge top and side panels with cams unable to tighten it back up. So when we assembled the new one we ran a bead of glue down every joint before tightening the cams. Hopefully that helps the durability.
