“I bought these to trial for a half marathon because I have not enjoyed other gels, and prefer to source my fuel naturally. This is a great way to try out all of the different flavours! The key lime and orange are definitely favourites because the sour cuts the sweetness of the honey. I’m not a huge fan of the cinnamon bun because I found it was VERY cinnamon-y and was a bit harder to get down quickly. Not an issue - I just won’t purchase in the future! They sit great in my stomach and have not had any issues with them. They’re a key part of my fuelling strategy, along with electrolytes.
I took off one star because I find the whipped/creamed consistency makes it a bit harder to get the honey out of the pack. It’s not the end of the world because I eat slowly anyways, and it worth it for no stomach troubles! I find that the the trash tag comes off easily when I rip, so would be worth reinforcing that in the future.
Overall highly recommend and will purchase again! Would love a liquid version as well so it can go down quickly!”
“Great taste, effective, and easy on the stomach. I hit some new PRs after using this gel. I take one before my long runs, then one every 30–45 minutes during. Could be a bit smoother for easier mid-run consumption, but overall an excellent product
