I appreciate having the mixed pack to try out the flavour & to see how the gels work during a run. I was surprised to find that they are so tasty & don't bother my gut while providing necessary energy for the run. I like all the flavours except the Matcha flavoured gel. I will definitely be purchasing the energy packs again. It was also nice to get a free jar of honey too!

Bought the Variety Pack to test out the product and have a few flavours to try out. Taste is excellent overall! Tested in cold climate and it was very viscous (almost solid) during those cold long runs, but all in all it was a good fuel and went down well. Much easier to manage when it was warmer, viscosity dropped and the fuel flowed more freely. Had no GI issues in my few try outs. Love the fact that when you rip it open the packaging has a small tab that keeps everything together, avoiding littering. Excellent product, highly recommend!

I ordered the natural flavoured honey; it is very good I like it a lot. And the variety pack of energy gels are great! I love all the flavours. I am still working through them as I only use them occasionally. When I run out I will most likely order more!

Love these gels. Simple, natural and quality overall. My partner and I are triathletes and hated the pricing and quality of the known gels in the market. These honey gels do not make our stomach hurt, they are so easily digestible on runs and the delivery was super fast. We also love supporting fellow Canadians. This is going to be our gels forever!

Always turned to GU for my distance runs and races because... Well that's what everyone else did and what the race courses had... But with the current situation down south, along with most Canadians, I started looking at alternatives. Doing some research I came across the Sun River Gels and decided to give them a try. Was really glad I did as I was missing out! Unlike GU, it doesn't have a weird chemical taste, just tastes natural like good honey. It fuels my runs well (I take one every half hour whenever I'm on a run longer than an hour), and the packaging is pretty good. All the flavours in the variety pack were superb but my favourite was the Matcha. I am in the midst of a marathon training block so I went through the first variety pack quickly and promptly ordered a couple of additional boxes of the Matcha flavour. My only point of constructive feedback is for the packaging. Conceptually, the little handle at the top of each packet makes sense to keep your fingers from getting sticky after you tear it. But, in practice it makes the opening smaller than it should be. Because it's honey based, it's a little difficult to squeeze out when you're running. honey tends to less liquid and doesn't flow as smoothly so a larger opening would make it easier to consume. Not a huge deal, but just a quality of life suggestion. Overall I am loving the product and will continue to use it as I have a few marathons and half marathons in the spring and fall season. You're my go-to now Sun River! Also the free jar of honey was a great touch. It was delicious! Wish you offered it on the non-variety packs Thank you!
