“This is the second time I've purchased this pack. The first time I commented about the packaging and how it wasn't necessarily designed for a mouth and eating on the run (literally). I was happy to see that they revamped the design and it works really well, especially the tab saver to reduce the amount of litter on the trail. The taste and quality of honey is still top notch - very happy.

Tried Sun river gel at an aid station at Sinister 7 this summer and it sat well and enjoyed the flavour. Saw ann add for the variety pack on sale and decided to go for it. “I’m a trail run leader with Bush Babes & Bros in Vernon BC and coach Dawna gave me a sample to try. I didn’t realize it was honey based at first, just thought it had a cool bear on the logo - I tried it on a self supported 50k and was pleasantly surprised! I saw the free jar day and ordered the 24 pack. I’ve been sharing them with people at run clinic and stashing them in my running pack as well as with my hockey stuff (I’m coaching my kids!) so I’ll have to order more soon. Love all the flavours and the bonus jar is perfect for adding to my coffee! Also the new packaging is an improvement, the first one I tried didn’t have the new tab so found the old packaging hard to open, especially when my hands don’t want to work properly on a longer trail run! Love the tab, easy to open but do find it gets in the way when trying to eat so usually tear it off anyways (but always make sure to pack up my garbage - but maybe a longer strip for the tab so it’s not in the way next time you redesign the packaging? But still a 5/5 product so just a little suggestion!)”
