“I received the Synergie Skin Lumibalance Multi Active Facial Oil as part of the Glosscar trial box. I've tried a few Synergie Skin products and love them all!
This facial oil comes in a brown glass bottle with a dropper. The instructions say to use 4 drops morning/night. The oil is nice and light and quite fluid.
I can definitely say don't use too much - I was doing a full squeeze of the dropper and found that the oil didn't absorb well (heaps of residue on my hands) and the initial scent was very strong and actually unpleasant so was going to give a 3 star review.
Once I realised I was using too much though, I'm much happier with the oil. The scent is not as strong and it leaves my skin feeling hydrated.”
“Wow!!! I was very impressed with this product. Initially I was slightly sceptical as I thought "okay the main ingredients are just hydrating oils, I could get the same at a much lower price". But I've woken up every morning with glowy, dewy, luminous skin. My skin is plump and hydrated, and every day has been a good skin day since starting this. Additionally, the oil sinks in beautifully and does not leave a shiny, greasy feel or look. It can easily be used in the morning under makeup and sunscreen. I'm blown away. I use this as a last step in my evening routine, layering it on top of a hyaluronic serum and retinol. Only 2 drops are needed as I have a small face, even though the packaging says 4. The smell is subtle and botanical. The packaging is high end and luxe. I would seriously consider purchasing this in future even though I've always been about budget skincare!”
“Touted as a multi-active facial oil for luminous skin, this certainly delivered on that. My combination-dry skin loves a facial oil, especially ones that are light enough to be mixed with a night cream. This serum oil is thin and easy to spread, yet has the consistency of a luxe oil. I am thoroughly impressed at how I consistently woke up with less fine lines, more plump and soft skin. I would continue using this, however I just can’t get over the extreme herbal scent, mixed with a tinge of off bananas? - it’s not pleasant but also reminds me of another natural product I tried from a kiwi brand.”
“Thank you to beautyheaven for letting me try this. The Synergie Skin range is a little on the expensive side so I was in for a treat. I have tried Synergie Skin before and have found it to be a quality product worth the price and this is no exception.
I have been using the multi-active facial oil day and night as both a replacement for my moisturiser as well as in conjunction when I felt I needed an extra boost. The oil is super concentrated and I used four drops as per instruction and I found that this is enough as a moisturiser alone. Skin is feels moisturised but not overly oily.
I've also used it on days in addition to another moisturiser where my nose is dry from all the blowing from hayfever and also a when my skin dries out from my acne medication. It's great.”
“The box has a really nice design, it's very aesthetically appealing, has a very sleek, upmarket appeal. It comes in a glass bottle with an eye dropper to dispense and again its a very clean, high end looking brand.
Its Australian made by Synergie formulations, its a lightweight facial oil thats plant based. Its promoted to reduce the appearance of fine lines, brighten and deeply moisturise the skin.
I'm not a huge fan of products that state they will brighten skin because its too close to suggesting it might lighten skin, and I also feel its a bit of a wish washy kind if term. It goes on to day it restores, balances and protects skin from free radical damage which is certainly a tall claim.
Only requiring 4 drops which easily covers ghe face and neck area. You can very strongly smell plants from this oil (of course) and its almost slightly herb like in its main scent profile. I quite like it but it is very strong and I imagine might be a little offputting for some. As the scent starrs to fade a little though jt becomes much closer to a rose like scent, much more subtle.
It is extremely lightweight and absorbs easily into the skin easily. It definitely leaves the skin feeling super moisturised and really smooth. After a week my skin was just feeling incredibly soft.
Given its made in Australia, completely plant based, not tested on animals, aesthetically it looks so nice and it leaves my skin feeling amazing. Definitely recommend”
“I have used a few serums and I was keen to trial out a new brand which I have never heard of. All the ingredients sounded interesting and were new to me. You usually just need one or two drops and massage it into your face and neck. My main skin concern is dryness so was happy that this serum targeted that. I found my skin looked smooth overnight and I used it underneath moisturiser during the day. I will have to keep using over the next few weeks to see if my skin remains hydrated especially with the changes in the weather”
“I found the Synergie Skin Lumi Balance to be a really light facial oil that doesn't feel too oily on my skin. I've been using it in place of a moisturiser and still found that my skin felt hydrated enough without needing to put on another layer. I can cover my face and neck with only a couple of drops so a little goes a long way with this facial oil. The texture of the oil is perfect and it doesn't feel too heavy or greasy on the face unlike some other facial oils. I'd definitely recommend this product.”
“I was lucky enough to get to use this product as part of the 2022 GLOSSCARS Trial Team- thank you beautyheaven!!
This product has a nice, gentle scent, not overwhelming.
I liked the ‘high end pharmaceutical’ feel of the glass bottle and dropper. Loved reading on the bottle that it is Australian made!
It is instantly moisturising and quickly absorbed into the skin. Does not make the skin oily. 4 drops definitely does the trick.
I will definitely continue to use this product, especially when my skin is in need of a moisture boost.
I only used it during the evening, so I can’t comment on how it goes when used in the morning before putting on makeup.”
