“First impressions- love the simple, unisex packaging which is recyclable cardboard and packaged in a way that protects the product inside.
The bottle itself is a dark amber glass bottle to protect the integrity of the ingredients. It comes with a dropper lid for ease of dispensing the oil without wastage.
The oil itself is very light and easily absorbed without leaving you looking or feeling greasy meaning it's perfectly suited to both day and night usage. My skin was quite dehydrated when I started using it and it drank it up and left it feeling much softer. I did get a bit of itching after a few minutes but it dissipated quickly and was likely due to the dehydration already present.
The scent of the oil is very pleasant, I can only presume it is the prickly pear.
I am a huge fan bakuchiol for its retinol like benefits without the irritation so that was a huge plus for me.
Overall, I did notice a difference in my skin after using this oil and will likely continue to use it to see the cumulative results. It was more hydrated, nourished and softer so I would love to see if it can live up to brightening and anti ageing claims it makes.”
“I have been looking for a new facial oil to slot into my skincare routine after I ran out of my last bottle so this came at a perfect time.
It's always been a struggle to customise my routine to work for my skin because I have an oily T-zone and dry cheeks. This facial oil is lightweight enough that it doesn't leave my forehead and nose like a disco ball but hydrating enough to stop dry and rough patches on my cheeks. A little will go a long way with this facial oil and I find that if I apply it at night, I still wake up the next day with supple cheeks.

“I was lucky to be offered the opportunity to try the Synergie Skin Lumibalance facial oil in a trial. The product is silky and applies to skin beautifully, a lot seems to go a long way. I only used around 5 drops for face and decolletage. I have oily skin but do not find this leaves my face feeling oily or greasy. I felt I would only be able to use at night as it may leave my skin too oily to wear under make up but after 10mins it had fully absorbed with a dewy finish. My skin texture on my decolletage has improved particularly and is significantly smoother with a more even skin tone.”
“I've always wanted to try a product with Bakuchiol in it, and this one didn't disappoint. I found it incredibly hydrating for my dehydrated skin. A little goes a long way - personally, I only needed 1-2 drops as opposed to the recommended amount as I have an oily T zone which I wanted to avoid.
I would recommend this product for the dry/dehydrated parts of your face and probably avoid it on oily/breakout prone skin especially in the humidity. I'm very likely to switch to using this product more as winter approaches - I'm quite excited to find an oil that actually works for me!”
“I was lucky enough to try this and I was initially quite hesitant because most facial oils are heavy and can clog pores. However, after using this for more than 2 weeks, I was pleasantly surprised my how lightweight yet moisturising this was. The scent was lovely and it was very easy to use. I would apply after moisturiser and while the consistency was like an oil, it sunk into my skin beautifully and left a beautiful glow. It was hydrating and really ended my skincare routine nicely, however, it probably is not ideal for those who need a very heavy oily/moisture.”
“I was lucky enough to receive this for the 2022 Glosscars and couldn't wait to give it a try.
The bottle is simple to use and is glass with a good quality dropper to dispense the right amount of product you want. The instructions say this can be used during the evening and morning but unless you have super dry skin, i would stick to evening as i did notice the heaviness on my skin - a feeling i enjoy at night but not during the day.
I tend to get oily, especially in my tzone so although i did get a nice glow from this, it's a touch too heavy for me during the day.
I was able to add this nicely into my evening routine with essence, night cream and eye cream. There is a faint scent that is more natural smelling and did take a night or two to get used to but i think the results are worth it. I woke up with a more even skintone, no rough patches and a plump type look in areas where i tend to look sullen or hollow like. I'm really happy with this and would love to try other products in the range as this is well priced, great quality and does what it says it will.”

“The LumiBalance face oil is a really nice, lightweight oil that effortlessly glides onto skin, sinking in really well leaving no residue. I found it to be nice and hydrating, with a slight pleasant fragrance that wasn't too overpowering.
You can apply this morning and night, however I only used this in the morning on top of my serums, sometimes before moisturiser and sometimes after and noticed that it didn't interfere with my foundation, but instead gave my face a nice glow.
While I did not see any any changes to my fine lines, I am going to incorporate this into my night routine and continue to test this one out!”
