“The LumiBalance face oil is a really nice, lightweight oil that effortlessly glides onto skin, sinking in really well leaving no residue. I found it to be nice and hydrating, with a slight pleasant fragrance that wasn't too overpowering.
You can apply this morning and night, however I only used this in the morning on top of my serums, sometimes before moisturiser and sometimes after and noticed that it didn't interfere with my foundation, but instead gave my face a nice glow.
While I did not see any any changes to my fine lines, I am going to incorporate this into my night routine and continue to test this one out!”
“This product comes in a lovely glass jar with a dropper so super hygienic to dispense the product out. I mainly used two drops every night as part of my skincare routine for the past week and a bit and found it was quite nourishing. Fine lines I haven’t noticed much of a difference but do find I wake up with plumper skin. The oil doesn’t have an offensive smell absorbs quickly and isn’t too big to be able to carry around on work trips away etc. for the price point I think it does the job and definitely one I’ll keep using in my night time skin care routine.”
“Another beautiful product by Synergie Skin, the LumiBalance facial oil contains a mixture of oils with active ingredients to smooth and hydrate skin. I very much enjoy the simple packaging of the Synergie Skin line, especially the slightly frosted glass bottle, everything down to the packaging of the products has been expertly thought out with the user in mind. The oil is lightweight with a very slight scent of oil, primarily olive. You only need a few drops to cover the whole face, I used this at the end of my skincare routine (37 years old with well behaved, combination skin) and found it to hydrate the dryer areas while not clogging the oily areas. It absorbed very easily into my skin, which is not the case with many oils. My skin looked well-nourished after use, however I believe that the Rosemary Oil may have caused a little patch of cystic acne on my face. My skin is not usually sensitive so just be aware that if you do have sensitivity to Rosemary Oil, this may not be the product for you.”
“Thank you for to BH for giving me the opportunity to trial the oil. I originally started using this as part of my night time routine underneath my moisturiser.
A light facial oil, I used 3 drops on my face and massaged it in for a minute. I loved how the Lumi Balance does not make my skin super oily - it goes deep in to keep my skin hydrated throughout the night. With the recent weather change in Sydney, I decided to use 2 drops of it during the morning. I notice that the sides of my cheeks used to feel "cracked and dry" during colder weather, but with the facial oil, this has slowly improved”
“I would like to thank beautyheaven and Synergie for giving me the chance to trial this facial oil. I LOVE me a good facial oil, and I love trying new ones, so this trial was right up my alley! The bottle is subtle and understated, though in a world of flashy and outlandish packaging this was a pleasant change! It has a slight natural, earthy scent to it, nothing overpowering or unpleasant. I did my usual spritz of facial mist before applying, and I did find my parched skin needed an extra few drops for a full face application. (this happens with every facial oil I try though, nothing against this specific one!) It applies really smoothly to the skin, and I really like that everything in this bottle is an active, without fillers or fragrance, it really feels like you’re getting bang for your buck! I did find that my skin was left feeling moisturised, nourished and brightened after using this oil. My sensitive skin also didn’t react to it at all, which was a huge bonus! The price point is slightly out of my reach for an every day product, but considering the fact that it is all actives, and leaves my skin feeling so good, I might just break the piggy bank open for this one!”
“The Synergie Skin LumiBalance comes packaged in a frosted 30mL glass bottle with an angled dropper applicator. It’s easy to use and lets me get the desired amount of product out each time. The line-up of ingredients in this product is impressive – it has 8 potent plant-based actives!
To use, I simply massaged a few drops over my face and neck each night. The oil is so lightweight – it sinks right into my skin without ever leaving me feeling greasy or sticky. It sits well on top of all my other night time skin care products and really feels like it’s locking in all the other products and keeping my skin happy and healthy. It has never pilled when used on top of other serums and moisturisers. Given this oil has such great slippage, I’ve also used it as a treat when doing facial massage and it works beautifully.
After using for a couple of weeks, the texture of my skin has really improved. My skin looks brighter, it feels softer and smoother, and it feels very balanced and happy, like it is getting everything it needs at the moment. I can’t comment on a difference to fine lines just yet, but I am so impressed with this product. I can’t wait to keep using it. Thank you very much BH for the opportunity to trial this!”
“This oil comes in a lovely luxe feeling bottle that has a good weight to it. I’m very particular about face oils as I have combination skin so I need it to be hydrating yet not heavy at the same time. I would rank this in my top 5 along with Biossance, Clarins and Sunday Riley. The scent is very faint and dissipates as you massage it in to your skin. It’s really lovely and light without having a watery consistency like the Guerlain oil. I use this only at night as I find even two drops is a bit much for my skin during the day.”
“The Synergie Skin LumiBalance skin oil was the perfect step o ensure my skin soaked up the serums I used before layering the oil. The oil has no fragrance which was great in not irritating my skin, and added a dewy glow.
The bottle is a dark glass with dropper which makes sure the product isn't affected by sunlight and maintains it's integrity. The dropper keeps it free from bacteria and any other nasties that might infiltrate the bottle.
What I loved most about this product was how it didn't sit on the surface of my skin, but rather my skin soaked it up and was left feeling hydrated, without any oily slippery feeling.
Prior to using the oil I cleansed my skin, added the serum, then used the oil on top. Finishing my daytime routine with moisteriser, then sunscreen, or nighttime routine with moisteriser alone.”
