I love a good facial oil and was very excited to try this LumiBalance Multi-active Facial Oil in my Glosscars box. This oil comes in a 30ml dark frosted glass bottle with a dropper. Although it's on the pricier side, it is concentrated and full of lovely natural plant oils, so I only use a few drops each application. It has a pleasant herbal scent and a silky, lightweight texture. It absorbs really well and doesn't leave that heavy, greasy feeling like some other facial oils I've tried. My skin feels really soft and smooth after using this facial oil daily and it also adds a healthy, radiant glow to the skin.

I received the Synergie Skin Lumi Balance Multi-Active Facial oil as part of the Glosscars Awards. This is my first time trying a product from this brand. The oil looks and feels luxurious. It applies well and absorbs nicely into the skin. I had to do a patch test first as I can be sensitive to some oils but my skin loved this product. I also started out at night only just in case my skin goes a little pink or reacts to the oil but it was all good. After a week I added this to my morning routine as I felt safe to use it during the day. I love how it feels on the skin. My moisturiser works well with this serum too. As it's too early to see major improvements in my skin like reduction of fine lines and wrinkles, I did notice the condition of skin looks brighter and more healthier. It felt nicer too. You only need a couple of drops to do the entire face. This oil does have a scent that I am not a fan of, but it does eventually disappear. If you could go past the scent, this is a pretty good serum.

I’m a facial oil lover and was so excited to try this one out. It’s promises luminous skin and it does just that! As someone who is trying to get into a routine of using a gua sha every evening, this oil is the perfect buddy for that. I would simply lather on a generous amount of this product (4-5 drops), use the gua sha as required and over top gently pat on a moisturiser. Every morning (well on the evenings I actually remembered to use the gua sha), I’d wake up with the most glowy skin I’ve had in a long time. It’s perfectly hydrating for my combination skin but would absorb perfectly onto my skin during the evening and not leave an oil field on my face in the morning as other facial oils would. I’d recommend using this product and gently adding moisturiser on top - the perfect combo for that glass skin look - I love love love!

Thank you BH for the chance to trial this balancing facial oil as part of the GLOSSCARS 2022 trial! What's not to love, I used this face oil to top off my night routine for the past two weeks to lock in moisture. Night time works best for me as my skin is glowing in the morning and ready to apply moisturiser and sunscreen. The scent has hints of a herbal aroma which reminds me of a trip to a spa l, as it helps me to relax as I massage it into my skin. Its key anti aging ingredients are bakuchiol (anti aging vitamin a) together with blackcurrant seed oil and balloon vine extract (super nourishing and gentle on the skin). Other light oils such as Marula, Argan and meadowfoam oil all work together to deliver a light oil that doesn't weigh down on your skin. Although pricey, given all it's benefits and active ingredients it is definitely worth it as it saves the time of having to buy them individually. I highly recommend to adding this to your skin care routine, it is my favourite nourishing oil.

The Synergie Skin LumiBalance is a lightweight facial oil that aims to reduce appearance of fine lines and helps with brightening and moisturising the skin. The oil comes in a bottom with a squeeze top pump dropper which is quite easy to dispense the correct amount you want. I used the facial oil after moisturiser and it did not feel overly greasy. After applying the oil, my face looks radiant and hydrated. The next morning, my skin remained radiant and plump. I have extremely sensitive skin where it gets irritated easily. I loved how this facial oil did not cause any breakouts or redness to my skin. This oil will be best during the winter times to nourish dry skin. I use around 2-3 drops for my whole face and neck. Overall, it is a nice natural facial oil that hydrates dry and sensitive skin. However, I probably will not purchase as it is quite expensive.

Thank you to BH and Synergie for this product in the Glosscars Trial Box. I really like this oil. It's lightweight, absorbs well. In fact it is one of the very few oils that would get fully absorbed into skin after a few minutes. The "lumi" I do believe it's more of a cosmetic effect (shine from the oil) rather than skin-changing. However, this oil softens my skin like nothing else. It's very strange. It made my skin feels so good and it is very hard to stop my urge to constantly touch my new-found soft skin using my hands. It is pretty comprehensive: contains squalane, bakuchiol, bisabolol, a whole bunch of plant extracts, lipids. It really does work and does deliver. I use this oil every AM, and also alternative nights when I am not using retinol. The instruction says use 4 drops as the moisturiser. I don't find this enough. 4 drops underneath the moisturiser as a facial oil is great. 4 drops as the moisturiser is not. What I don't like is the scent. It smells fishy and was off-putting especially the first few uses. Because I liked the result, I persisted. Also I don't like the marketing of "clean science" which is on the bottle. What even is clean science? There's is no dirty science so clean science means nothing.

First impressions- love the simple, unisex packaging which is recyclable cardboard and packaged in a way that protects the product inside. The bottle itself is a dark amber glass bottle to protect the integrity of the ingredients. It comes with a dropper lid for ease of dispensing the oil without wastage. The oil itself is very light and easily absorbed without leaving you looking or feeling greasy meaning it's perfectly suited to both day and night usage. My skin was quite dehydrated when I started using it and it drank it up and left it feeling much softer. I did get a bit of itching after a few minutes but it dissipated quickly and was likely due to the dehydration already present. The scent of the oil is very pleasant, I can only presume it is the prickly pear. I am a huge fan bakuchiol for its retinol like benefits without the irritation so that was a huge plus for me. Overall, I did notice a difference in my skin after using this oil and will likely continue to use it to see the cumulative results. It was more hydrated, nourished and softer so I would love to see if it can live up to brightening and anti ageing claims it makes.

I have been looking for a new facial oil to slot into my skincare routine after I ran out of my last bottle so this came at a perfect time. It's always been a struggle to customise my routine to work for my skin because I have an oily T-zone and dry cheeks. This facial oil is lightweight enough that it doesn't leave my forehead and nose like a disco ball but hydrating enough to stop dry and rough patches on my cheeks. A little will go a long way with this facial oil and I find that if I apply it at night, I still wake up the next day with supple cheeks. Highly recommended!
