The hinged case is a great idea, but I didn't like the keyboard. Didn't have the nice touch and arrangement of my Zagg keyboard. The shift key on the right side was too small.

The case works well but it is cheaply made. I am expecting it to break or stop working sooner than later!

Cons: Be careful if you want this for iPad2... Mine arrived with iPad 3/4 marked on the box, iPad 2 unchecked. Also from my shipper, the product had obviously been returned and reshipped - without repackaging in a crushed box. Also - why the heck does this thing require a USB MINI cable?!?!? Now I can't charge this wherever I have a USB micro cable - I have to have this special (vintage?) cable. But honestly, if it wasn't for this cable and a bit of case snapping when I squeeze the back corner of the case - I would have given it five stars. Pros: works as advertised. iPad snaps in easily. My iPad2 is slightly loose - doesn't fall out, but is not the tight fit of my previous case. iPad makes the case a bit top-heavy, but the larger battery in the base compensates just fine. You really do think you've got a mini MacBook. Of course, this isn't apply quality and you can feel it in the keys, but my wife LOVES IT - and she pretty much hates all technology. Pairing was a breeze. Turn on Bluetooth on the iPad, see the device, hit it, and it tells you what number to type on the keyboard... took less than 30 seconds. It has a home button so you can get to the home screen on the iPad - which, quite honestly, is great for determining the keyboard is on and active, be I see no use for beyond that... once you're on the home screen, you have to touch the screen to get anywhere. We haven't tried the "charge your phone feature", but I can see that as a big plus in the car while using the phone as a hot-spot. Overall, I am very pleased with this keyboard. I charged it fully when I first received it, and we haven't had to recharge yet (1 week, 3 iPad recharges) so I don't know for sure how long the charge will last, I don't turn it off - but so far, so good. Now, if this only had a trackpad :)

very nice case. Easy to sing with the iPad. It makes the ipad look like a small Apple computer. Very stylish.

Bluetooth connects easily, my iPad 3rd Gen fit well, lid seems a bit flimsy and weight of the iPad alows unit to tip when on your lap, keys on keyboard are clunky and not laid out very well, feels like cheap plastic

Does the job but very cheap and plastic - might be worth spending a bit more for a better one
