“Excuse the mess. I'm in law school. But this is the most excellent invention ever. You can literally have a book, iPad, laptop, cell phone all propped up (there's a phone holder), have a drink in the drink holder, spread all of it out enough to write while all of those things are still propped up and be comfortable. I use this so much more than my actual desk. If you have ADHD it's awesome. You can relocate anytime, sit on the floor and stretch, relax in bed, change rooms, etc. I don't even need an actual desk anymore. Anyway, if you need desk space but don't want to sit at a desk, this is your solution.”

“If you can't decide on purchasing this or not, I'll save you some time by telling you that THIS folding desk is IT!! As a full time student during these COVID times, sometimes you just need to study in bed, or on the floor, or literally anywhere else than your normal desk for a change.... this little (big) table is perfect for doing that! I really like how the hinges between the folding legs & the tabletop are sturdy enough to prevent them from folding under itself while moving it around the bed, & it's tall enough to fit your legs under comfortably (even while sitting cross legged!). The slide out drawer is small, but that's fine because it would take away from the desks minimal-ness & it's perfect for keeping the tabletop clear of pens, pencils, phones, mugs. & the included bookstand is surprisingly durable & fits snugly into the little slit. It's lightweight & portable too!”

“Are you familiar with the adage "Be careful what you wish for?" It's quite possible the author had this lapdesk in mind when he wrote that. This is a beast of a lapdesk. A BEAST. It's huge, it's spacious, there's room up top for amber fields of grain. The one I ordered and received was a return for whatever reason and for the most part you wouldn't know it. Except... for the fact the book stand wasn't included. That wasn't mentioned in the description and normally not a huge deal as I don't really foresee using it but I didn't pay for a lapdesk with missing parts, I paid for one that was previously owned but in like new condition. That's an issue I'll take up with customer service but worth noting for fellow penny pinchers willing to settle for like new condition. So back the sheer size of this thing. Have I mentioned how large it is? It's also surprisingly hefty. I'm impressed with the quality and short of an adult sitting or standing on it, expect it to last quite a long time. It's slick... like glass, so I recommend a gaming pad to prevent anything placed on top from flinging across your room, just out your reach resulting in a deep sigh because you'll have to lift this monstrosity off of you. Consider yourself warned on that front. Would I recommend it to friends? Yes, with reservations. If you enjoy sitting on the floor, it's a great height for that. As a lapdesk to use on the couch (which is why I bought mine) it's pretty unwielding but it's not a deal breaker because it's big enough to handle my Razer Huntsman Elite and mouse with a super handy tray with a slot to park your phone plus another slot built to accommodate a monster tablet. Plenty of room to spread out and get your study on, write a dissertation, perform an autopsy on animals under 40 lbs or carve a 20 lb turkey... Yeah, it really is that big.”
