“I watched a few install videos before crawling under to install these. Also, in one of the videos, a person
commented that instead of installing the security screws together on the same end, he put one on each
end of the brace. That got me thinking and I contacted the manufacturer of these (Cali Raised LED),
and inquired about ordering another set of security screws. Well, come to find out, they were already discussing about including a full set of 8. So, I ordered and received the extra set and now I have the
brace installed with 8 security screws as just another FU to any thief that would think about trying to
remove my Cats.”
“Catshield install was straight forward however driver side fit was a struggle due to the bracket not fitting over the shield on that side. It likely would help if the security bolts were another 1/4 inch longer. I tucked the shield up as far as it would go but it was a struggle pushing everything up to get the security screws started. It did work out. The product itself is nice and I’m sure there are slight differences in the trucks. Passenger side went on easy.”
