My Maui Jim glasses were older and I haven’t seen the model for quite awhile, but I kept them anyway (even though I couldn’t use them due to the condition of the lenses), because of how expensive they can be! The lenses make the sunglasses feel like I just bought a new pair (for less than 1/4 the cost)!

My experience with purchasing lenses from Tajima Direct was EXCELLENT! The whole process was easy to navigate…even for someone who’s not tech savvy. The customer service and communication was stellar. Oh, and the quality of the lenses far surpassed my expectations. So much so, that I immediately purchased a second pair of lenses. I use my polarized sunglasses for days on the water fly fishing, and, for golf. And now, they’re pretty much my everyday sunglasses.

The optical clarity of the Tajima lenses is excellent. Was not sure if they could cut lenses to fit the Smith lightweight half frames, but they did it and the lenses are very nice.

I purchased the Yellow Green 40 specifically for fly fishing in low-light conditions. These are the best lenses I found for this application and they fit perfectly in my Maui Jim frames. As well, they are exceptional and cutting glare and enhancing subsurface visibility. By design they allow more light in, but are still a great all-day lens even on sunny days. I highly recommend them!
