“I already have a great sleeper since I started out with the new born class and have carried on since then, but love being able to understand where my little one is developmentally and how to deal with the new challenges we are facing in age appropriate ways (fear of the dark, moving on from pacifiers etc).”
“We have been TakingCaraBabies followers since the begging! We’ve taken all of the courses and had an amazing sleeper thanks to Cara, but things got off track when we moved to Kansas and my husband left for 3months due to the military. I started letting her sleep in my bed when she had night wakings and now that she was 2 she was pretty dang persistent when I wouldn’t get her. I decided to get Cara’s Toddler class to help get us back to sleeping in her own crib. We were lucky bc we had taken her previous classes and she could fall asleep independently no problem. It took about 3 nights and now we have a solid system for night wakings that she and I both love! And with many new changes on the way (baby 2, potty training, dropping paci) I know I can revert back to her class for guidance!”
“Taking Cara Babies has been a life saving resource for us since my son was an infant. We missed Cara and her guidance after he turned two, and now, after implementing a few very simple strategies from her new toddler course , we have been able to successfully address the bedtime battles that we were struggling through!”
“Cara did it again! We took all of the TCB infant classes with our third baby and he was the best little sleeper of all time. Now that little baby is almost 3 years old, and I made the mistake of toilet-training and transitioning to a big boy bed the same week.
The first few nights he went right to sleep as he always has… but on night 3 he got out of bed to go potty and discovered that the rest of our family was baking cookies. Game over! For the next couple weeks he would not stay in his bed, wouldn’t stay in his crib, nothing worked. I was beyond thrilled to see that Cara had just released her toddler course!!! I devoured the entire thing in one afternoon and had my perfect sleeper back in 3 days!
One of the most useful components of Cara’s classes is how developmentally appropriate each one is. She has so many strategies that improve sleep before you even make it to lights out.
Not only did we get our great sleeper back, she covered so many other topics that are coming our way- like weaning the pacifier, toilet training during the night, etc.
And with all of Cara’s courses, she truly does share with a mother’s heart. All the research is spot on, but the way she speaks to parents is so caring and realistic. Can’t thank Cara enough!!!”
“We are Taking Cara Babies alum - we had the best experience with the baby sleep class. So, when our toddler started fighting sleep and having inconsistent nights we knew we needed to go back to Cara. We found the toddler class to be super relatable and within five seconds of the second segment I was saying "yes that's us!" out loud.
We felt like we were chatting and listening to a friend because everything Cara said in the video segments was spot on - we also found ourselves laughing throughout the video because we could picture our 2.5 in every example Cara gave.
Making sure we fill our toddler's Control Tank before bedtime was a brilliant idea we hadn't considered; when we heard that we immediately thought that thay would work for our 2.5 year old. And after only a couple days of implementing it we have already seen a difference in our daughter's sleep!
A few other parts of the class we really enjoyed were the SAD acronym, the afraid of the dark tips + the interactive bedtime checklist.
Cara's toddler class really added on to the information and tips from infant sleep class. The information was so valuable and we will continue to add these tips to keep our girls good little sleepers. We are truly grateful for Cara and view her as our friend who gives the best ever sleep advice!”
“This course is incredible! It has so many tips and tricks to get your toddlers sleep on track. The course includes easy to follow videos that guide you through each step. I think my favorite part is that Cara doesn’t only talk about bedtime, but also discusses behavior and how to really meet your child where they are in their development which all ties into their sleep. I also love that so many different life transitions and challenges are discussed in the course as well! We are expecting another baby in just over five weeks and I know those tips will be so useful! Cara is so comforting and makes you feel confident in your abilities as a parent, which is so helpful when you may feel incredibly stressed out and defeated because of your toddlers sleep troubles. I highly recommend this course and am so happy I have this tool to help my husband and I conquer our toddlers sleep troubles.”
“The toddler years are a new challenge for us! While we had been successful with TCB's courses in the past and have an awesome sleeper now, we've had a hard time with our now 3 year old's newfound desire for independence and preschool in the mix. To top it off, we also welcomed twins just a little over a month ago! The videos, tips, and suggestions for extra considerations were especially helpful in our case. The other videos and sleep training strategies were not as necessary for us since we had already been successfully using the ideas from the 3-4 months and 5-24 months courses. If you haven't taken those courses and are just now diving into sleep training with your child, these dive deep into navigating sleep at the toddler stage. However, even if this is your first class with TCB or you're a TCB alum like we are, the short video clips and supplemental downloadable worksheets are easily digestible and can be listened to on the go (as I needed to do so) which is immensely helpful when you've already got your hands full. No doubt this course will lead to success in the toddler years and beyond!”
“In short - amazing. I took the TakingCaraBabies newborn and 3-4 month sleep classes and became a true believer. This toddler class is no different - science based, from the heart of a mom; what more could you ask for?
I think one of the things I liked and appreciate the most about this toddler sleep training class is that it really does apply to all aspects of raising a toddler, not just sleep. How to connect with (and dare I say, enjoy?) these little people who’s brains and bodies are growing so fast is really something I’ve been struggling with. My almost 2.5 yr old daughter is VERY strong willed and nighttime in my house has become a time I dread - after dinner, we brush teeth and head upstairs for bath and bed routine. By the time we make it upstairs, there’s usually been some tantrums, meltdowns, power struggles, if not all of the above. This class has already given me some tools (and knowledge) to implement changes that will make everyone happier and more relaxed as we transition to bedtime - no screen time at least 30 mins before we go upstairs, giving her LOTS of choices (within my control) throughout the day, and really taking time to be present during our one on one time- just to name a few.
I always tell people, there a few things I’d do differently with my daughter if I had to do it over, knowing what I know now. The very first thing would be to find TakingCaraBabies early on and watch all the videos while I was still pregnant (I’ve given all my friends who have since had babies the same advice - to which they are equally as grateful for TakingCaraBabies). I didn’t learn about Cara until my daughter was 8 or 9 weeks I think and I was already knee deep in it. This toddler class is no different, and has come at the perfect time for my family. Thanks to TakingCaraBabies, we had already implemented some of the tools from the earlier classes (I.e. falling asleep independently), so this is icing on the cake and already makes me feel a little better about the years to come (not gonna lie, I still dread the teenage years). If you’re even thinking about it, please, do yourself a favor and get this class. You won’t regret it!”
