I have had this model installed for about 6 months now and I have to say that I hate it and wish I had never installed it. My main complaint about it is how LOUD it is. Every time you use it there is a loud metallic clanking sound when it comes on and when it goes off. It drives me crazy. The unit is installed in the laundry room and I can hear the clanking from my game room 20 feet away down a hallway. It's terribly annoying. Also, while the unit is heating water there is a whirring sound. This whirring/vibration can also be heard in other rooms - especially the room with which it shares a common wall (it's VERY loud in that room). The whirring/vibration also travels up the studs that the unit is mounted on and into the room above - which just happens to be our bedroom. So, between all of these sounds, you can ALWAYS tell when someone is using the hot water. This noise is bad enough, in my opinion, that I was willing to tear the whole thing out, eat the cost and put in a tank model. My wife was not a fan of that idea - so we are keeping it. Additionally, there is a noticeable delay in the water heating up at the tap vs our old tank heater. This was expected - based on reviews that I had read prior to purchasing - but is much more noticeable than expected (i.e. it takes longer than I thought - especially for long runs). I would suggest you try one of these tankless systems out a someone's house before buying so that you know exactly what you are getting yourself into.

I am sorry to hear that. If you look at all the other customer reviews for this product you will see that there are some misunderstandings. First the units have a 0 decibel rating, meaning they do not make noise. However, they are mounted on the wall and vibrate when they are in use. That vibration of the wall can make noise. It sounds like there is something in or on the wall that is rattling and making that noise. You may want to check the unit's mounting brackets. Secondly in regards to the time it takes to get hot water it is not possible for it to take more time to get hot water with tankless than a tank. The water coming out of the tankless is instantly hot. When you are waiting for hot water this has nothing to do with the water heater and everything to do with the water in the pipes that has sat and cooled from the previous use. If you are 20 ft away from the water heater and have 2 gallons of water that has sat and cooled in the pipes you have to of course wait for the hot water coming from the water heater to travel that distance and the cooled water that is between you and the water to flow through. If you have a standard 2 gallon per minute shower head then it would of course take one minute before you have hot water. If you want instant hot water at the tap or shower you will need a recirculation pump. I will include a link below to that section of the site, but they recirculate the water so that you do not have cold water left in your pipes from the previous use. https://www.tanklesswaterheaterdepot.com/tankless-water-heater-recirculation-pump-kits-and-accessories

I love the tankless water Heater. The only draw back is it does take a like time for the hot water to get to the shower. But once it is there is nice i do not run out. I would recommend to every one. For one shower a day for a month it cost me 7 dollars in gas a month.
