Our standard grade gaffers tape is a polyethylene coated cloth laminated tape, with a low gloss finish film coated with a Natural Rubber adhesive great for all purpose use. A 76 mesh high quality, low gloss finish, polyethylene-coated cloth tape with a natural rubber adhesive. Tape is wound on a 3” neutral core. This unique product with its low light reflectivity makes this product suitable for entertainment type applications where minimal visibility is required. FEATURES/BENEFITS:
Specially formulated adhesive allows for clean removal on most surfaces (surface type and dwell time may affect performance).
Conforms well to irregular surfaces and will not twist or curl during application. Excellent water and abrasion resistance. Tape is hand-tearable (no cutting tools required). Polyethylene coating makes for superior durability.
APPLICATIONS:
Used in the entertainment industry (concerts, tradeshows, etc.) for laying cables, wires, joining and building background props, and for marking placements on stage (i.e. “spike” tape). Suitable as a book binding tape for seaming and edge reinforcement. Due to the printable surface of the tape, it is used to mark/seal film “cans”, storage boxes, etc.

“that's what the good ol' boys called 200 mile -n- R tape ! works great on the high bank at the Daytona motor speedway at 200mph without flapping in the breeze that before came only in gray as it is today at home heating and cooling contractor supplies ..and of course it's going to work great .. it has to withstand extreme hot a cold for years of abuse and the only furnace tape that is cost effective for installing your most modern climate control unit in every home owners dream house for sealing every run of duck work , air handlers , condenser coil box ..humidifiers and commercial HVAC systems of all kinds ...but it was the tv sport channels that complained of nascars that after several pit stops of racing for hours of trading paint and taping back together air damns and spoilers to try and maintain down force and speed ..so duck tape was too easy and fast on a tire change and top off the fuel but in the early days when the car bodies where real with real trim there was no our way to complete a race that required body repair to maintain the sponsored ford, chevy or was it a dodge ..when at tv commercial break the remainder of cars on track where all sporting the same gray fenders and hoods ..and some one (this would be epic to look up ) had a idea for colors to match the nascar teams colors and or logos from the sponsors .... and the one we miss the most driving the ol' black chevy Monte Carlo with the big #3 on the side never looked like it ever got scratched even with four or fives rolls of black 200 mile-n-R tape holding the whole front end of Dale Earnhardt's car together after he would attack the rainbow warrior just to let jeff know who was still boss !!!! and then that was day of the end of boring gray tape race cars ..that saved the industry from hillbilly dirt cars to F1 coverage gaining millions of fans today !..add websites like TAPE JUNGLE that is now anything but the real jungle of wanna bee nascar drivers on south 3rd street on the way to Wal-Mart that if make it through all the re-starts that are the 20 or so traffic lights with fenders still attached only to battle ol' gray hair ladies that cant see over their steering wheel or there shopping kart that only have two speeds fast and run you down when trapped under a flashing blue light special 3 rolls for 5 bucks ..nope never again when I can sit here all day , push button add to kart and drink beer till it gets here !”
