“The most expensive pair of basin taps that I have purchased are the only ones where both handles fail to align with their spouts, all others, albeit not Ideal Standard products, aligned perfectly!
Furthermore, these taps are not a matching pair. The hot water tap spout differs from the cold water tap which is perfectly rounded at both front edges, they failed to round off the outside edge of the hot tap, however these failures are within Ideal Standards manufacturing tolerances according to their customer support representative. Easy for them to say as they don't notice it every time the sink is used. I consider these to be flawed items which failed the inspection process and should have been sold as "seconds".”
