About Tea Life:

Hello! My name's Toby and while I've always been a tea lover, I never really thought about the benefits and healing powers of herbal tea before a certain time in my life where I was going through some stress and anxiety.
This is a short story about my tea life.

I came across Valerian root tea and noticed one of the benefits listed was 'helping stress and anxiety' so I thought why not? It actually did help, and became my first go to solution for when I was feeling stressed.

Since then I have had to go back to that single shop to order it, as it's difficult to find. Sometimes it was sold out, sometimes I was too busy to make the trip, but overall I was just thinking 'why isn't this awesome drink more readily available'?

So I decided to do something about that. I researched the benefits of other herbal tea, as I was curious to see what else was out there and was astonished to learn just how useful and powerful they are. Over time, I realised they really are natures medicine.

This website has been designed to educate, and provide easy access across Australia to a huge range of Organic Herbal tea, free of pesticides and other impurities.

Apart from herbal tea, I have also stocked the best chai, exotic, and other health related blends I could find within Australia. If it's fresh, interesting and tastes great - I'll get it in.

“This loose-leaf Decaf Ceylon Black Tea is nicer than the decaf teabags I've been drinking for decades. I decided to change to loose-leaf tea after finding out that many teabags use plastic to keep the paper of the bag from falling apart. Really happy with the flavour and now I can add the used tea leaves to my worm farm.”

Hi Alan, Thanks for your review! This can be an issue with decaf as it is slightly different due to the process it goes through. For many it's still a great alternative but we have had that feedback a couple of times. The selection for decaf is extremely limited at this time but we'll keep our eye open for solutions to this.

“I can’t take caffeine so found this company that has decaf, and a huge variety of herbal teas. I ordered several different ones to try including decaf Ceylon tea. It is great. You wouldn’t know it was decaf. A great choice. I am trying the other herbal ones each day which are all lovely. Initially I had many questions I sent by email and Toby was super helpful with very prompt answers. I give this family company 10 out of 10.”

Hi Liz, thank you. We'd love to expand our decaf range actually but it's difficult to get a hold of. Hopefully this year will bring some new decaf teas!

“We are enjoying the tea, but we are still debating if it is worth the money. The website is easy to use but delivery wasn't especially quick (1 week). Might be trying somewhere else next time....”

Hi there, thanks for your review. Your order was placed on the 18th (Australia day public holiday) and from there we needed to do a bit of a catchup as it was quite busy around this time. Your order was then sent on the Friday which is actually much later than our usual dispatch time as we were awaiting new stock due to a spike in sales that caused us to unexpectedly sell out. The actual transit time I think was about 2 days to reach you in this case, so normally it wouldn't be too bad. We'll be working on getting the price for decaf down this year, which is normally always a bit more expensive than regular tea but we'll do our best.

Hi Jennifer, thanks for your review! Decaf doesn't sell too much - but when we do sell it to those niche customers they'll always be back for more!
