Tentrr is your private camping experience. We connect adventurers like you with private landowners who want to share their land so you can experience new places.
“We couldn't have imagined a more perfect weekend! Though the beautiful weather certainly helped :D Honestly, Barry & Jenn were great and provided way more than we expected. Plenty of wood, water and supplies. The river was amazing - calm & relaxing spot upstream that was surprisingly deep for swimming and rapids downstream for sunbathing or stargazing or whatever. Only complaint would be walking back up the hill with all of our bags - so pack light! - but it was worth the hike anyway.”
“Just right in every way. A dogs paradise. Our old girl is a grumpy sleepaholic. We were worried she'd be miserable. Never seen her so happy and relaxed. Be sure to enjoy "Pebble Beach." Jennifer and Barry rock.”

“This campsite is very pretty and well cared for. However, it is a hike to get to it (about 1/4 mile downhill through the woods). This is great once you get settled, but getting in and out takes some effort, so either pack light or expect to spend some energy hauling all your gear in and out.
The upside of the hike in is that once you are there, you feel like you have really gotten away from the hustle and bustle – surrounded by woods and quiet. There is a shallow river running right next to the site that really adds to the scenery and you can hop in and splash around if you want to cool off.
The cooking/eating area is very well equipped. The large picnic table is covered, and there is a lot of bench storage and a cooler for food. Also, there are several useful utensils and a couple of pots for cooking. The fire pit is a great gathering spot. When we got there, the supplied wood and kindling was all damp from a recent storm, but our hosts got dry wood for us so eventually we had a nice fire.
There is an area for trash/recycling and doing dishes and they supplied us with 10 gallons of drinkable water in Coleman containers. This all came in very handy, but we wished it was a little closer to the eating/cooking area.
The outhouse is very well built and maintained. It was pretty plush (for camping), with TP, hand sanitizer, wipes, and a little nightlight on the wall.
The site has the standard Tentrr canvas tent as well as a nice Eureka dome tent that could easily sleep four adults with plenty of room for gear. The air mattresses in the main tent were super noisy, though. I think they are standard issue for Tentrr tents. Jenn and Barry said they were looking into replacing them and I hope they do. Nights can get cold up there, so make sure you have warm clothes, good sleeping bags, etc.”
“Nice secluded campsite with all amenities. Short drive to Monson as well as area hiking. Host were very accommodating and had excellent local knowledge and suggestions for off the beaten path hiking trails.”
“Very private and well kept site. The site is next to the river. We can wade down the river and hangout at the ledges on the rapids. There is a downhill 1/4 mile hike from the parking spots to the site. Plan accordingly on what you want to carry but the camp keepers have all you need stocked up down there. You shouldn’t need to carry much anyway. The way they set up the tent area is very nice. The location is great for hiking and kayaking at nearby locations. You can rent a kayak from the place about 10-15 min drive. So many things to explore in the area. Jenn and Barry are very nice and they will help you out if you need something.”
“This site has everything you could want and more! The walk down to the site truly feels as if you are in the middle of nowhere and the water next to the site was a great way to cool off throughout the day!”
