“We loved this site! The in tent heater was more than warm enough, even on it’s lowest setting, and the included picnic table with cupboard storage was so nice to have available while we were cooking and hanging out. The fire pit with a lid was also super nice and made having a fire in the drought feel safer.
One thing I’d recommend if you’re planning on booking this site- bring some sort of Raid/intense bug repellent. As nice as the tent and the bed are to have and use, the floorboards don’t do much to keep the spiders out and we woke up both nights with spiders crawling all over us even after we checked the whole tent for bugs. There was also a large amount of yellow jackets around the campsite/picnic table during the day. However that was honestly the only negative thing I can say about our stay, but what else can you expect while camping? Bugs are just a part of the experience.
The bathroom was a short walk from our campsite (we easily could have used the Tentrr loo as well), we had a water spigot with a hose attached to it, and we had an outlet to charge our devices/lanterns! We will 100% be coming back once the weather starts warming up again. Thank you Tentrr and Wasatch State Park!”
“The site coordinator was extremely helpful as I was originally booked at a different site that unfortunately had some issues with the view...she set me up with this location and it was BEAUTIFUL and nestled in the mountains - quiet and clean and relaxing. DEFINITELY would return/recommend!”
“Nice little stay! It was nice to not have to worry about taking care of many typical camping amenities! The heater was great & the tent was cute. Maybe not worth the price tag, as the campsite wasn’t clean (including the mattress cover which was covered in dirty footprints & mud), it’s right next to a big burned area & they did some construction or something in the morning right next to the area. Probably wouldn’t stay again but it was a fine time!”
Thank you for feedback. We apologize for the condition of the mattress cover as it does not meet our standards. It has been cleaned since you reported this matter.
“Our stay at this site was pleasant for the most part. Our camp keeper was so nice and the site was nice and clean upon arrival. The campsite was amazing too. However, there were a few drawbacks and suggestions I would have if you stay here. But there were also some pleasant surprises.
1.) The site is located in an area with surrounding campsites, but no one else was there during our stay.
2.)The site is surrounded by small trees so there is very little shade, I would suggest bringing a canopy.
3.) There were multiple yellow jackets in and around the campsite, that were kind of scary.
4.) The additional sleeping area for those with tents had small pointy stumps and large rocks in it. There was no other area where we could set up our additional tent. Those stumps and rocks poked holes in our tent and sleeping pad. :(
5.) To our surprise, this site had electricity to charge our phones and such. It also had a "spit" or water source in the campsite.
6.) The public restroom and showers were also very close by.”
“This was the perfect way for "non-campers" to camp. The site was beautiful and exactly as pictured. We took two cots for our young kids and they fit easily in the tent with room to spare. The fire pit was really nice and had a grill for cooking. The only suggestion for this particular site would be to bring a canopy for shade over the table area - everything else is shaded. We had a few technical issues with the booking and their representative was extremely helpful and quickly resolved the problem. We are already looking forward to a return trip.”
