“Ginger and Matt were terrific hosts and very accomodating. The site was open to a field and had good access to a path to the stream where we took a quick swim. Bugs were tough, but that's Maine for you. We generally like more wooded sites, but this was nice and quiet.”
“We loved our stay at Roaring Acres Farm. It was our first Tentrr and a great experience. William, the camp keeper, and his daughter were incredibly nice, laid back and helpful. We came with our two dogs and we all had a blast exploring the land and hiking the nearby trails. We combined our Tentrr experience with dinner at The Lost Kitchen, which was amazing, but because of that didn't spend as much time at the site as we would have otherwise. The only negatives were that the temps dropped quite a bit at night and we weren't as prepared as we should have been. The air in the mattresses gets quite cold (and the mattresses can be a bit squeaky)! Next time we'll come better prepared, and stock enough wood in the tent to keep the wood stove going all night (it does make it quite cozy in there, but we let it go out too early this time). Also, noise travels over such vast land - we could hear a gathering at a house up the road, as well as coyotes howling through the night - but neither bothered up too much. All and all, we loved it. Hopefully, we'll be back soon!”
