“The whole experience wasn’t great. It served its purpose of giving us an easy camping experience, and the amenities were fine. But it was sub par in terms of location, privacy, noise, and Tentrr/host responsiveness. The campsite is not very far off the road, and you can see houses nearby. We heard dogs barking (incessantly), cars, and people. The worst was the frequent hunting gunshots… they sounded too close by to make us feel safe taking a hike. I was most excited about the creek, but wasn’t warned that it was dry. Before the trip, I had trouble getting responses from both Tentrr and the host about some basic questions. The tent was fine overall, but there was some trash left behind, and the drinking/dishwashing water jugs weren’t full - but we didn’t have any cell service to request more. Overall, not worth the price and long drive to get there.”

Since your review, we've gotten in touch with the host at this particular site and addressed some of your concerns. They are aware of them and moving forward with future bookings, will be more mindful of the items you mentioned.

“Great setup with everything you need. A surprisingly comfortable bed so we all slept great. Used the heater one night kept us very toasty. My only complaint was it was not as remote as I thought. You could see and hear neighboring houses (mostly since the leaves had fallen).”
“The campsite was well equipped with cooking utensils and a fire pit. (Area has firewood but we brought our own.)
Tent and bed were comfortable and dry when we had an unexpected rain storm!

“The tent was as expected but tbh it was not very clean inside. All of the dishes that were provided as well were also dirty. The water containers all had dirty water inside of them and there was not a designated spot to fill up the water. None of the outside lights worked. If you do come just to escape, it is totally fine. You will lose service like 20 min out so be sure to download an offline map if you intend of venturing outside of the tent site”

“Cozy place to getaway from busy life for a day or two. We enjoyed it a lot with a campfire, Joel offers some wood on the side which comes in handy. Everything you would need is prepared too. Nice experience overall.”
