Tentrr is your private camping experience. We connect adventurers like you with private landowners who want to share their land so you can experience new places.
“Our stay was okay at best. Be prepared to walk a mile to your campsite because the park does not allow you to drive up to the tent like the website says. We had to leave our kayaks and other belongings out in the open parking lot where it could've gotten stolen. Also their was a portable pop-up "Loo" but no toilet paper, make it make sense. The view was amazing though. Boat launch and beach is right there and there is plenty to do.”
“The area is beautiful and the set up was good. I used tentrr because I was solo camping with 3 dogs and didn’t want the hassle of setting up my own tent. I would probably use tentrr again, but only if the price was lower…”
“We really enjoyed our tent! It was perfect for the weekend with a little private area to jump in the water. The inly thing we would change is maybe a way to drive your car or truck into the site and unload your stuff at the tent. It was a little difficult to tote everything there. Also, we did find the site to be a little on the bare side for $85/night. We did not see the sun shower. All in all, we were pleased with our weekend stay! We will probably come again in the winter time! Thank you to Ms. Linda for being so accommodating!”
Dana - we're so glad you enjoyed your stay at South Toledo Bend State Park. Since you departed, our CampGuide has checked this campsite and verified that there is a sun shower on site for campers. We also appreciate your feedback on the campsite access and are discussing ways we can make this part easier in the future. We would welcome you back for a future stay!
