My wife and I very much enjoyed our stay at the Grand Isle Beach Tentrr. The set up allowed for a great view of the beach and the water. Waking up and getting to watch and listen to the waves come in was truly fantastic. The availability of shower and bathroom facilities was certainly appreciated. We very much enjoyed our two night stay and although I am not an avid camper, this was certainly very comfortable. The only suggestions I could potentially mention is perhaps an umbrella to offer some shade during the blazing hours of the Louisana afternoon as the breeze dies down a bit and if you need a break from the sun, the tent gets quite warm inside. All-in-all, the trip was quite fantastic.

Amazing! Took my 6 yr old "beach camping" and we had amazing time. The tent is huge, bed is comfy, there's even a toilet. It was only a few hundred yards from parking, which made hauling stuff a breeze. They have "electric candles" in the tent and solar lights around the campaite for nighttime visibility. We enjoyed starting a campfire and cooking hotdogs. My 6 yr old is already asking to go back. Alicia is super nice and responsive. A+ all around. Fantastic experience.

Even better than described! Maybe we lucked out and got the campsite on a slow weekend for the state park, but the beach was almost private. There were some other people swimming during the day, but only one other tent set up the night we stayed. Very comfortable. As someone who's accustomed to "real" camping, I didn't know what to expect from renting a tent. But it was quite enjoyable. The only complaint we had was very noisy zippers clanking against the walls of the tent all night from the wind. We wish we'd had some duct tape, haha. I recommend paying the extra fee for bedding, because the host provided us with nice breathable thin sheets (as well as a blanket, but we didn't use it) great for a hot Louisiana night.

Omg this was one of the most amazing trips I have taken! First grand isle is magical and this spot is beautiful! You almost feel like your on your own private island! Bring mosquito repellent. My only suggestion would be to provide some sort of Cart for getting things to and from the site. Other than that though this was a beautiful and romantic getaway!

The tent was really lovely & even though the days were (of course) hot, the nights were cool & breezy. Couldn't ask for a better spot.
