“BEST CAMPSITE EVER! Colleen and Bill are the most friendly and accommodating hosts we have ever come across. This was our family's first camping trip and being city dwellers there were alot of doubts of what to expect leading up to the trip. However, this campsite exceeded our expectations and we left the campsite kind of sad by the end of the trip because we had to go home. Only regret is that we didn't stay longer. The area and hosts are very kid friendly. The site is very well maintained and equipped (just bring food). They really did think of everything! We will definitely be back. Thank you again for an amazing weekend!”

We spent the weekend hiking on nearby trails and relaxing at the campsite. Our kids (10 &12) had a great time as well. Best Tentrr hosts ever!! “Colleen and Bill's site was great! They were waiting up with coffee for our late arrival, the tent was clean and they provided plenty of dry wood for the fire pit and wood stove. We took a nice drive over to Lake Placid for the day and stayed up looking at the stars at night. It was a great trip!”
“We had a great stay at Piney Wood Hills, despite two days of rain! Colleen and her husband were great hosts, and were happy to supply anything we needed. The campsite was clean and well-equipped. We ended up hiking up Giant Mountain, which was only about 20 minutes away - it was an AMAZING hike with superb views (although our thighs definitely paid the price!!). Thanks for a great weekend getaway!”
