The forested setting provided important shade and a trail from the site leads to a lovely gorge for further relaxation. The layout inside the tent was spacious, comfortable and clean. The fire pit and picnic area had everything you'll need. The structure for the shower and loo was an added bonus. The location is exceptional for visiting the Finger Lakes and surrounding parks.”
“Gorges Hideaway is tucked away in the woods off of a farm field in a serene location which creates the perfect camping experience. It is close to very good hiking trails and beautiful waterfalls. South Hill Cider is a short walk away and is not to be missed. The camp keepers were very responsive and set up the site nicely.”
“Mike and Lucy really thought of everything. Great campsite, totally private. Super comfy bed. I'd give this 10 stars. Only thing that can be improved (and this is nit picky) is the fire pit. But we loved every minute.”
